I know there is a ton of them... I'm looking to find one that isn't your every day Kodak or Flicker, but is accessable from State Farm's network since that is part of the audience. Trying out Photobucket today, and so far it's been easy to use.

If you haven't been by in a while, check the next entry for all the summer's activities. Since I'm just learning to use it, I'm going to use a link, but will also try some of their extras on this entry.

Shout Out to Friends

It really goes without saying, but just because I haven't for a while, I want to call come attention to the Saucier family's blog. Their addition of Taylor has only given Liz more reason to take AMAZING pictures. Check it out to see pictures of the kiddos, their activities, and Chris' 30th (man, he got old! :o) )

Secondly, Our very own Maria is now a famous local entrepreneur. Robin & I were at her mom's on Saturday, but to talk to Maria on Saturday afternoon and hear the excitment streaming out of her as she talked about her grand opening that day energized me 150 miles away! We couldn't be happier for her.

Minor Updates

Hard to follow Robin's succinct blog debut, but somone must!

I made a few minor changes, most notable was adding the category view of the archive.

Otherwise, not much doing today, it's Hockey Day in Canada, which I think should be an international holiday! :o)

Blog Updates

Quick updates to the wacky world of the Internet.

First, I'm playing around with keeping a Stars / Sports blog running. Basically, there's very little hockey in Virginia, and I've found myself reading a lot, so I made space to post my thoughts. Guess if there's no one to talk to, I'll just publicly talk to myself!! :o)

Also, Robin is now offically able to post here. Not that there was a reason she couldn't before, but I actually didn't know you could co-author here. So, be on the look out for updates from either of us!

Maybe Better, Maybe Worse

Okay, so I did some playing with the blog tonight. Two of the pictures are .gif files, but not playing, so if you know more about a computer than I do, advice is welcome. Otherwise, if you like the changes, I'll take your honest feedback. If not, no need to share!! :o)

As always, more to come as the time & motivation strike the same place at the same time!

My First Blog!!!

This is my first run at doing anything like this, but Liz is my hero in the blog world, so I'll do my best to make her proud.

First up, the two big announcements... If you don't already know, Robin and I have been engaged since mid April, and will be getting married October 26th of this year. Linked to this (if I do it right) is the first of two engagement picture settings.

This was the volunteer effort of JR, who I cannot thank enough for his time and efforts. JR gave up two hours on a Saturday to hang out with the five of us and take a variety of photos. He still had a CD with over 100 pictures in my hands on Monday.

We used multiple locations too, for which we have to also give huge thanks to Herb & Pam Eaton who gave us the run of their home, yard, and studio in Bloomington.

Obviously, you'll hear a lot more about all of the comings and goings of the wedding here.

Secondly, Robin & I each completed a designation this week. I'm happy to say that we managed to both take an exam on the same day, spend the weekend studying together, and didn't kill each other! I've now completed my Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU) and am thrilled to say that I plan to take at least a years break from exams to focus on the wedding, family, and everything else that is going on.

I said that once I completed the exams, I would also start a blog (again, inspired by Liz, check out her work!!!) and keep it going. So, here goes. Please send me feedback to help make it better and come check it out often!

The blogs will get better, I'm sure. I will email this out to anyone I can think of that might want it, and most likely some of you who would rather not... Please feel free to forward it on if you think someone else would be interested and also let me know if you would rather not receive email updates. I get plenty of email myself and will not be offended if you would rather not receive these updates.
